Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, instant yeast, and salt. Gradually add warm water while stirring until fully combined; the dough should be shaggy.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 12-18 hours until doubled in size.
  3. Dust a work surface with flour, turn out the dough, and fold it over itself to shape into a ball.
  4. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) with a Dutch oven inside for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Carefully transfer the dough onto parchment paper in the hot pot. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
