Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs (skin-on)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Place skin-side down in the skillet, cooking for 7-8 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Flip the thighs and add minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth mixed with honey or maple syrup around the chicken.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove the lid and let any remaining liquid reduce slightly for a thicker glaze before serving.
