Savory steak with bourbon-infused garlic cream sauce is a culinary masterpiece that transforms any meal into an unforgettable experience. Picture a perfectly cooked ribeye, seared to perfection and drizzled with a rich, velvety sauce that balances the deep flavors of bourbon and garlic. This dish is not only easy to prepare but also visually stunning, making it ideal for both intimate dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ribeye steak (12 oz)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup bourbon whiskey
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Remove the ribeye steak from the fridge and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking. Add oil and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. After flipping, add minced garlic and butter. Baste continuously with melted butter.
  4. Once cooked, remove the steak and deglaze the skillet with bourbon, scraping up brown bits.
  5. Lower heat, add heavy cream, stir to combine, and let simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Slice the rested steak against the grain and drizzle with garlic cream sauce. Garnish with parsley before serving.
