  • 1/3 cup hot honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Rub the mixture over the chicken.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat; stir in hot honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice until well combined.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and transfer to the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
