Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (for garnish)
  • Optional: chopped herbs or crumbled bacon for topping

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water by an inch. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool Down the Eggs: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for at least 5 minutes before peeling.
  3. Peel the Eggs: Gently crack each egg on a hard surface and peel under running water for easier shell removal.
  4. Make the Filling: Slice eggs in half lengthwise; scoop yolks into a bowl. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Fill the Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into egg whites.
  6. Add Finishing Touches: Sprinkle paprika over filled eggs and top with optional herbs or bacon.
