  • 1 cup fresh scallions, chopped (about 100g)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce (60ml)
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil (30ml)
  • 2 tbsp honey (30g)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (30ml)

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and black pepper. Add chicken breasts and coat thoroughly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Sauté Scallions: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped scallions and sauté until softened (about 3 minutes).
  3. 3. Cook Chicken: Increase heat to medium-high and add marinated chicken. Cook until golden brown on one side (5-7 minutes), then flip and cook through until juices run clear.
  4. 4. Add Sauce & Simmer: Pour remaining marinade into the skillet with the chicken. Let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes until thickened.
