  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; allow to foam for about 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, cream cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add flour, brown sugar, egg, and melted butter to the yeast mixture; knead until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread the filling evenly over it.
  5. Roll tightly into a log and slice into even pieces.
  6. Place in a greased dish; let rise for about 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown; drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and milk after cooling slightly.
