Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Stir in crumbled feta and remove from heat.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into a tree shape with a triangular top and extending branches.
- Place the spinach-feta mixture on one half of the tree shape, fold over the other half, and crimp edges to seal.
- Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
