Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 soft pretzels (fresh from the bakery)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
- In one bowl, whisk eggs and mustard (if using). In another bowl, crush soft pretzels into fine crumbs and mix with panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg wash, allowing excess to drip off. Roll it in the pretzel-panko mixture until fully coated.
- Place coated chicken bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
