  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar + 1 tbsp cinnamon (cinnamon-sugar mixture)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, oil (or butter), and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; do not overmix.
  5. Layer half the batter in the loaf pan, sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Repeat layers.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
