- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs (divided)
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix, melted butter, 2 eggs, and milk until smooth.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add remaining egg and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Pour half of the red velvet batter into the pan. Spoon dollops of cream cheese mixture over it and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly.
- Cool in the pan before refrigerating for at least two hours. Slice and serve.
