  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp pure peppermint extract
  • 3 drops red food coloring
  • 10 lollipop sticks
  • Parchment paper (for cooling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by lining the countertop with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water over medium heat until dissolved. Stir gently to avoid crystallization.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in peppermint extract and red food coloring until well blended.
  4. Pour the mixture onto parchment paper into heart shapes using molds or by hand. Insert lollipop sticks before the mixture cools completely.
  5. Allow the lollipops to cool at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes until hardened.
  6. Once cooled, carefully peel off and package or serve immediately.
