- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 pita breads
- 1 medium cucumber, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh dill or mint (chopped)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste

- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade. Add chicken breasts and coat well; let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced cucumbers and diced tomatoes for a few minutes until softened (optional).
- For tzatziki sauce, mix grated cucumber (squeezed dry), Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill or mint, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Assemble gyros by placing warm pita bread on plates. Layer with sliced chicken and sautéed veggies; drizzle generously with tzatziki sauce before wrapping tightly.
- Serve immediately with extra tzatziki on the side.
