  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Green food coloring (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with festive cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  3. Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth; lumps are okay.
  4. Fill each liner two-thirds full with batter.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  6. For frosting, beat butter and powdered sugar with milk until creamy. Add green food coloring to desired shade.
  7. Frost cooled cupcakes in circular motions and top with red candy sprinkles.
