  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 medium carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion and chop the carrots.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Transfer the meat to the crockpot; add onions, carrots, and frozen peas.
  4. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; stir well to combine.
  5. Spread a layer of mashed potatoes over the meat mixture and smooth out any lumps.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
