- 12 oz Beef Tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 2 cups Marinara Sauce
- 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- Fresh Basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix cooked tortellini, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the meat sauce, followed by half of the tortellini mixture. Repeat layers.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
