My culinary journey started in my mom’s kitchen in Portland, Oregon, where Sunday dinners were legendary family affairs. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I was surrounded by incredible fresh seafood, seasonal produce, and a culture that celebrates farm-to-table dining. After earning my degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America, I spent years working in kitchens from Seattle to San Francisco, learning from amazing chefs and discovering flavor combinations that would make your taste buds dance.
